Why are these Pg Ti subs so cheap

Audiobahn owns Alpine anyway. You people hate audiobahn because it is the best deal for what you get. Actually a way better deal.

audiobahn doesnt **** but they really arent the best power for the money either, i have that same amp you have and boy is there way WAY better i could have got for the 300 dollars i spent on it but o well and the type r's will be better than those subs you have and the flame q i would go with those anyday over audiobahn but the w3v2 i think will get louder and have more sq

alpine is better. Audiobahn is over priced. Alpine head units are worth it. But amps nah.

I only like alpine head units and subwoofers. Their amps are too over priced. As for audiobahn i hate it all. never heard a good sounding audiobahn setup and way too much chrome. Also people ***** it too much jus like JL. Althought i did hear 1 or 2 good sounds JL setups but people jus ***** it/over play it too much. So now we got Alpine Type R over PG Ti's.

I've heard a 12 type r and a 12w3 back to back and it was no contest, the type r was clearly the better sub. IMO the w3s **** ballz.

i thought the pg ti's were weak till i sat in a suv with 6 12" Ti's and shocked the hell out of me. I think i might get 2 15's Ti's for my next set up cause they are cheap, sound good and get loud

Lol PG sucks and Abahn owns alpine cmon now bro are you serious? Abahn is all bling bling and no power what so ever to back there products up. I guarantee the alpine or even PG will outplay your subs. By the way I would probably go PG over alpine type R's.

Simply put, the PG's wang. IMHO, they are better than type R's. They have the potential to get louder, and have some really nice SQ on top of that.

true that. i have 2 of the 4 im getting and DAYUM .... my doors go "clack clack clack" on ~35hz with 450watts of power, not to mention my bed cover flexes like a mofo in the front between the hinges, and my cab window and under the windows flexes ..... even with the doors open .... imagine 4 .... i cant imagine 6 like that guy above said^^ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/idea.gif.5acb6a39a9b92425414c316dda202bad.gif

How would these subs compare to say alpine type R? The reason I am asking is because I want a lot of bass while maintaining good SQ. I was looking in getting 2 15" Type R's with the hifonics 1500 but if these pg's are better i might go with that.

How about some ed K's? they have great potential to get loud especially with a hifonics amp. I'm fairly sure they are cheaper than type r's also.
