I tried to call tech support at ID but i kept getting the voice maill. what would be a good ported box for a IDMAX 12" v.3 that could handle a Hifonics Bx1000.D wired at 1 ohm that would get lould and still maintain excellent sound quality

i actually read the recommended enclosure sheet that came with it and played with it in winisd (freeware) and found out a 2.55 at 28 hz would give a really nice response curve. slight problem is that i don't have the room to get it to work slot ported so i i'm going to use a snake port from subzero and some 3/4 x 3/4" mdf strips to brace it.

Ok, but the box I listed should work very well. Those snake ports should work nice. Tell us how they sound!
