Why are these Pg Ti subs so cheap

Simply put, the PG's wang. IMHO, they are better than type R's. They have the potential to get louder, and have some really nice SQ on top of that.

Have to agree here. I have ran 4 Type R's in a sealed box. Now I am running 4 10's in sealed boxes. The 4 10's easily keep up with the 4 12's I had. The Type R's were excellent subs though. Great build quality. Could have been the boxes they were in too. Granted not xxx, brahma or ED but the Type r's would deff bump. Side by side the Ti put Jl 10w3v2 to shame. Better build quality a major plus and they can take more power. Oh yea anywhere from 75 to 100 bucks cheaper. Have not heard the w6v2 but maybe the Ti's would compare with them?? Been running a pair of Ti d4 10's with a pair of Jl w3v2 for about a month now and the JL's have got to go. By the way I think the 10w3v2 and the Type R would be comparable subs excluding the price. This of course is all my opinion.

They sure do, there's a few shops out here in cali that sale em for $399.99 for the 15.

wow. gotta love the net. im glad im hearing the ti's can exceed the w3's. my friend has 2 12" w3's on a 500/1 and thinks he's god with them.
