Why are there so many colored people into car audio

I also thought that Negro was acceptable because it is the standard definition of the race of people that are of African decent and/or dark skin. Just as is Caucasian for people of European decent and/or light skin.

I have a feeling using this will more than likely get me shot eventually, despite it being the most correct word.

racism exists on both sides though, i dont see why one specific side should get preference over another
(im trying to look at this from the most non biased way that i can)
there is no non biased side, ever notice how the racist people on both sides hardly run into each other, they always seem to end up picking on the other person that dosnt want to bother or be bothered by anyone.

To anyone that doubts racisim exist, get on xbox live in just about any game, you will run into one of them ***** every day. Everything could be going fine, black person (or person that sounds "black") comes in the room could stay there for 15 minutes and everythings fine, soon as you say hi they start flaming:rolleyes:

if you get shot for using the word, you'd probably get shot by someone who calls their own race a N'word.

I have a black friend.. he doesnt care if I call him a N'word if im just f'kin around... lets face it.. there are quite a few younger white boys like me that call our own white friends N'words.. If I just met up with someone I might be like, "ohhh, what up N'word"

"oohhhhh what up N'gga... come on in man..... come onnn weed mein" wheres it from, where it from!!

Personally, in the last few years i've been saying im American... Im of Polish and Albanian Descent, but that just sounds horrible, hahahah

ummmmmmmmmmmmmm kinda........ who still uses **** sapiens or ****-erectus instead of humans of huma being?

To me it's not that hard. You know that most will not apreciate being referred to as colored or negro. Black or African American is generally accepted -- if there is a need to refer to race.

Why not just use one of the two terms that is not controversial?

BTW, I have never heard a black person get upset by being referred to as black.

bingo

ooops, didn't think u were serious...............
if u were the keynote speaker at an urban league luncheon, or running for prez, or workin as a volunteer in an innercity afterschool program.... what do u think u should refer the " darker people of african descent" as?
I'm going to guess they would use African American or negro, leaning more towards African American of course.

It just confuses the hell out of me when there are organizations built around your race and the term that is used for that major organization is considered "wrong".

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People

United Negro College Fund

National Association for Black Journalists

etc.

Probably...

Interesting question, in everyday life I would use the term "black." But in that setting I would probably use the term, "African American." The latter just seems more appropriate for formal speech, but does not really sound authentic in casual use.

I have been referred to as Anglo-American. Perhaps, the white community is trying to adopt a "-American" thing as well. I think it is about as stupid as caucasion though.
