when i hold my rear output up to the deck chassis the buzzing stops so your saying wrap a wire around the tip of my rear output cable and some how connect it to the deck chassis? and this isnt bad or anything? every time i oulled the output away from the chassis it made a loud thumping noise, is that normal? and why did this happen?

its ground loop pioneer issue.

if you search the forum for "pioneer speaker noise" i believe there's even a tutorial and notes on ways to stop it.

its basically where you hit a bump from what i can understand from that mess of a first post - and the RCA's have a small fuse on the grounds that can blow.

when that RCA fuse blows on the PCB board in the headunit, it creates a ground LOOP allowing interference to hit the RCA's and the deck because there's no longer a solid grounding point at the head unit end of things.

wrapping the ground manually around your RCAs recreated that ground that's needed to keep noise out of the lines from alternator, spark plugs, hums from the cars computer etc.

its ok and usually a permanent fix.
