why cant the car audio stores build me a box according to the spec sheet on my sub for my car i mean wtf is wrong with the cheap ***** in town every ****ing audio installer does it here. Why are they trying to **** ppl over so much or are they just really that stupid. So here is my story i have a 2003 toyota echo and i was putting in a treo ssx 12.22 so i print out the spec sheet give it to they guy and say hey make this box according to spec. What did they do they made it half the size it is required to spec if not worse than that then ther eport was so ****ing smalled 1x16.5 i mean wtf. Anyways does anyone else have these problems in there town and take note these arent the cheapos these are the audio installers everyone goes to see and pay good money also.

my shops around here **** balls. there is a shop that does kicker sealed only-bullshit. then tonight when i was out i saw this "sound vision" car. i saw alot of tv's in it. he went through a drive threw so i turned it up for him. later he drove next to me and i could barely here rattling.

google "winisd" good free box design program... after you get it, look through the help section, then if you still have ?'s we can sure help ya!

take your specs and go figure something out on the re enclosure calculator. will tell you what size the cut each piece

Alot of small custom shops ****. I had a shop in my area called "Car Toys." They sold crap, the only half-way decent stuff they had was Diamond and you could never get any service when you were the only person in the cheap *** store. 2 years later they were shut down cause apparently they were selling drugs out of the store.

You're right, not ALL of them.

However, I'll go out on a limb and say 1/100 actually do good installs. I have yet to find 1 anywere near pheonix.
