not looking for crazy bass and the basslink is sufficient enough in a hatch back.

I hate 6x9s in boxes.. but if you have to .. lol.. anyways. yea a different sub and amp would work a little better. you can get some low model woofers and small amps for pretty cheap these days..

Yes, my setup costs about 525.00 shipped but I think it's worth it. At least he could recoup the costs later if he sells it. He wouldn't get 100 bucks if he tried to sell his choices later on.

Sometimes its better to wait and buy decent equipment than to waste it on 6x9's.

lol i dont think you all get the whole point....

i have a 1991 acura integra (while being in good condition not worth spending 500+ into it)

im looking for a easy to install audio system ( no comps)

im NOT looking for crazy bass or crazy clear speakers...

i work at BBY and get everything crazy cheap...

i have a RF FG (rockford) amp kit mad for 2 amps for 35$ new ( comes with dizzy blocks and all)

the bass link will provide the bass im looking for...

reason for not going with a better amp and subs is---- i dont want to waste a lot of room.... and just want a all in one amp/sub/box combo... NOT a bazooka tube those **** balls.

thanks for the imput...after winter i plan on buying a car that is worthy of a AWESOME car audio set up... not sure wjat car yet tho...

if you HAD to choose from ALIPINE type S OR Infinity REF speakers what would you do?

ONLY THOSE no thing else....

not trying to spend more the 45$ for a pair of speakers.

i already have the 6x9 in boxes... they are the only speakers that i have at the moment... im not worried about selling this stuff later on...

and selling is all relative anyway...if i spend 600$ on a sytem and sell it for 300-400 later i still lost 200$

if i spend 300$ on a system and sell it for 100-200 i loose out on 200-100$ see my point.

I would take a bazooka bass tube over that sub. Have you ever heard their higher model tubes that your bashin them?

Use the money you'd spend on the 6x9's and boxes...skip a pair of door coaxs...and put that money towards a decent pair of Componets up front....Power them by the 501x amp...keep the original plan on the 6.5 2 ways in the rear on deck power...This will be a much wiser sound choice.....Maybe go with the higher end Bazooka Bass Tube for sub bass

except if you read this you would see he already owns the 6x9s and boxes. I agree with you on the bazooka tube tho
