Shipping and ebay?

I know why most people who list things put high *** shipping prices on their items on ebay but I still cannot get that when somebody callls them on the fact that the item they have does not weigh that much they still persist and say that the price stated for shipping it the correct price. Funny yet infuriating. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

Thanks to everyone here that post fair and correct shipping prices on the items they sell. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Shipping charges are the first thing I look at.. I bought a cell phone car charger for $99 cents, it was $5 for shipping.. Should I be pissed?

Is it dumb? Yes but it is just how ebay works... You usually learn after the first time you get screwd.

It sux, but most of the time the total equals the amount of the item at reg. price and correct shippping. The people on e-Bay are cheap. always wanting something for nothing and want to get more than what thier items are worth half the time.

Gotta love egay!

I have a bad habit of listing items with too low of shipping. I really dont like ripping people off at shipping, I know how I feel when someone does it to me....but yeah, on bigger things sometimes I lose 3 or 4 dollars but its all good in the long run.

lol its true.

i usually just add the two together and look for the best deal. some people have higher shipping, but lower product cost. and others vice versa. i do the math and see who has the best deal.

take the kicker pkd1 kits on ebay for example. im not mad about $22 shipping, when the item is coming from 300 miles away, because paying $81 shipped is still better than paying $199 retail, plus taxes, and the gas it take to get to and from the place of purchase //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. its all good when you rememberthe types of deals your receiving.

I get pretty pissed at people who put stupidly high shipping costs just to squeeze out some more money. I actually just won an old school head unit I wanted and the guy had shipping at $19. I messaged him and asked of he could ship USPS and put the deck in a flat rate box for $9. He agreed. I thought that was a pretty nice thing for the seller to do.
