Excuse me but you're comparing 2 different styles of guitar playing. To say Rhoades was better than Wylde is totally ignorant. I would say Rhoades was great but not as good as Wylde on the "harder and faster stuff". Wylde is a great guitarist but he can't play alot of the stuff that Rhoades could play since Rhoades was incorporating a little classical guitar into his riffs which was outstanding in my opinion.
In short, they both are/was fantastic.

Rhoads played great technical stuff. Just watch Mr. crowley video sometime. I believe that if rhoads stayed around longer he would have gotten even better, remember he was only like 20 something when he died and was always taking lessons even when the band was on tour. wylde is good don't get me wrong, and I do agree with you on the faster stuff, but not harder.

Yngwie Malmsteen blows any guitarist out of the water...hes reputed to be the fastest guitarist in the world. his solos are so fuking fast that it just sounds like one continuous melody.
