So...A sealed enclosuse of 1.25 cubes will take hours to design? I'm trying to be a dick and I pay when I ask for stuff but don't make it out to be in the same line as designing a special ported type of enclosure with 12 sides to it.
:
DOES NOT COMPUTE:
anyway.
your box can be 16" high.
16 - 0.75 - 0.75 = 14.5 inches tall internally.
you want 1.25 cubic foot?
1.25 + sub displacement (probably 0.1 cubic feet) = 1.35 cubic feet.
1.35 cubic feet * 1728 = 2332.8 cubic inches.
your box must have 2332.8 cubic inches of area inside of it.
2332.8 in^3 / 14.5 in = 161 square inches
your box's base must have 161 square inches of area internally.
the sub's mounting depth is around 6.25 inches. give the pole vent 2 inches required breathing room or so, and you have an internal depth of 8.25 inches. if you add 1.5 inches for the wood, you'll have the external depth of 9.75 inches. is that shallow enough?
if so, then you have 161 in^sq / 8.25 in = 19.5 inches.
your box must be 19.5 inches wide internally, and 21 inches wide externally.
your box must be 8.25 inches deep internally, and 9.75 inches deep externally.
your box must be 14.5 inches tall internally, and 16 inches tall externally.
or you could build a box that is 1"x1"x194.5', that will be 1.25cuft too.
