well it is a fact that alpine is very much just a MARKETING ENTITY and gets a lot of there products made by other people, the most obvious product is the alpine spx z15-m , its a SCANPEAK driver with a much higher $!!!! ,

Funny i remember Mr Wiggens saying he got hired by one of the worlds biggest audio companys for some designing and that he was unable to say who they were but he hinted he was on the way to a first class flight and was getting flown down to japan(some asian country, keep forgetting) but as to who makes it, who knows?
