Memphis PR's and Powerbase black series are very hard to beat...I have been in car audio forever and used and installed a ton of woofers. For what these cost they can't be beat.

Really though, the RE line is very cheap($$$-wise) and they're great subs. I'm getting a couple of RE8's, $56 a pop... Makes the wallet happier, and your ears.

I'd say kicker comps, or rockford punches. I heard one the other day in an s2000 and it actually sounded pretty good.

yep...the Comp is the entry level, then the VR...a huge sale lebomb is getting ready to get started on the Comps..buy one, get one free.

at that price that it can be had for that would be a very good woofer at better than an entry level price. when i worked retail a set of pioneer e cheapos was 50-75 dollars more than this and not near the woofer
