Who Makes The Best Amps?

I hear that the Alpine PDX amps don't sound worth a s h i t on components. Very flat and dull pretty typical for class D. I had one of the pioneer premier 4 channel amps a year or two ago and it was that new class D technology. And I heard very clean mid bass but flat and dull high's also. There was no crisp airy highs like I'm used to with class AB amps.

i've only used hifonics amps, between 600 and 2000w, and they have been cool. They just get hot and I don't think they do the rated power, but that might be ebcause they are rated at a higher voltage.

if they are getting hot you have an electrical issue , and heat robs power so thats why you prolly dont get rated out of it. but they are based on 14.4 for rating. but they will do what they say without getting hot on proper electrical.
