hey all..

i'm looking to outfit my 04 suburban with an overhead flip down monitor that plays dvd's and games.. i know nothing about mobile video but i know i like quality and dependability.. i'd like something with a 12x10 screen or bigger if possible?? i looked at clarion.. not sure the model number.. but it seemed ok for the size and picture quality but i'd like to look at a few more before i decide

any and every bit of input would be appreciated.. from wiring to speakers or headphones to mounting.. also what game set ups will work with mobile video would help too??

even advise on the headrest models.. in case they'd work better??

basically i'd like to hear everything about mobile video you folks got to offer?!

Any game systems with RCA outputs on the end of the cables coming from the system will work, so basically all of them... If you want to be able to hear it in the truck through the speakers, have the audio wired in, because FM transmitting for that kind of thing just doesn't work.. My dad has one in his Avalanche, and I don't use it anymore even though he has $200 speakers in it, because the FM transmitting is just terrible.....

Has built in DVD player, 10.2" screen (widescreen), aux input plug, fm modulation capability, 2 video inputs and one output - one S-Video input, a remote, and wireless headphones.

do they make a 12 volt game system or do i have to get an inverter to run it?? i was hoping to find one with wireless headphones and a bigger screen.. do they make anything bigger than a 10" screen??

they are out there, but 10.2" is plenty big, and this one does have wireless headphones.

you will need to wire an inverter for the gaming system.
