The maintenance on the BMW is not all that bad if you know where to get parts and have a good mechanic. Especially with a 3-series since there are so many on the road. If you were to totally alien to both cars, and someone pulled the badges off the car and you drove them back to back, the 328i would really stand out. We have not had issues with reliability. Most issues, from what I have seen, usually come from the models that are heavily laden with electrical gizmo's, and mostly the 7-series. A manual 3-series is one of the better all around, reasonably priced cars on the road. And the combination of the manual with their super smooth I-6's is excellent. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Yes, the insurance is a little higher, but they do hold their value well, and have a much better sporting nature then the Honda. And yes, we owned both a Honda and the BMW at the same time. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
