Hmmm...
I bought mine about 3 years ago and havent had a problem with it. It all depends where you get it from...
There are exceptions to every rule, however and I'm not certain of the accuracy of that statement as written. Here's the thing, sellers with that many sales will lack customer service. I ran into one of those guys before, couldnt care less when I email etc.. The trick is to find a seller that's more than average seller but not that high where they actually care about their customers.
I agree, I think he's one of the few with the exception of that many ratings and still maintain a good record. Personally thats the first time I've heard of that user (will add to favorite list thanks) But I've dealt with one of these high sellers before who werent up to par as that one you stated. There are exceptions to every rule, however and I'm not certain of the accuracy of that statement as written.
I know of one seller who has massive amounts of feedback who has inarguably outstanding customer service.
Do an eBay search for the username bag-boy (exactly as I typed it with the hyphen) and have a look at his feedback. Should there be any wiring or related accessories you happen to need make a purchase from him. That will quickly disprove the theory that sellers with heaps of feedback lose all interest in CS once they have attained such high levels of feedback. Also - when looking at bag-boy's profile have a glance at the feedback number attributed to his account versus the number of feedback actually received. This is indicative of repeat customers (literally in the 10s of thousands at this point)
You don't get that many repeat customers by treating them shoddily //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
If so who did you go through and what was your experience? I'm getting more and more shied away from ebay as I hear of bad experiences.
