who has a 225 amp???

Assume you're talking about the Orion ?

They used to run all day at "200" x 2 @ .5ohm ... so I don't see what would be any different now / why they wouldn't at .7 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have heard of a lot of people doing it. Cooling will be a major factor. Forced air cooling will be a must. Make sure you are running 4 ga power wire to the amp.

I have 3 of the middle series with the removable top plate. I won't load mine down below 1 Ohm mono, but that is mostly cause I don't want to take any chances with these amp. They are in perfect condition and irreplacable as far as I am concerned

Because of the impedance curve of most woofers, they won't even see .7 ohms when you crank it at a comp. I wouldn't worry about them.

"A couple of computer fans" is not the best cooling solution, though. If you are going to go the computer fan route, fully enclose the amp and use the fans in a push-pull configuration to force air through the enclosure along the length of the cooling fins.
