its gonna be around $350-$450 shipped in bare mdf.

I must charge WAY too little then.

And for the square cut outs. They are more of a pain in the butt to do, but I dont charge more for a wood box. However, for my glass boxes I do, because I have to make 2 rings for each sub, to inset the sub.

go get mdf, set up to build box, get tools out , build box, pack box, go to ups or whoever, its gonna take most of 8 hours all done.take away shipping $$$ and $$ for mdf and glue and that leaves about $25 an hour for you. i wouldnt build it for any less. and i would be happy to pay that for a good box if i couldnt do it myself.

just out of curiosity, how much would you charge to build a box like this for 2 x 12s? you dont need dimensions exactly just 'ball park' the cost and include shipping to cali for me.

I have MDF, my tools are set up, DHL picks up my packages, and it will only take me ~3-4 hrs to build and carpet.

And I would STILL charge nearly half that, and still be making enough money to be satisfied.
