Just trying to sum this all in one message:Infinity perferts 12 subs with the perfects 6.5 component or the Alpine 12R's with the R's 6.5 comp set. well, both have their advantages, and in turn disadvantages.

I LOVE those Alpine comps!!

BUT!!!! sadly, they will fit in VERY few vehicles because of tehir huge magnet depth, but i fthey fit and YOU like the way they sound, i say get em fast. they are a better deal IMO than the perfects....

ALSO have heard excellent things about the Type R's

I have to go with Mark_ab on this one, not trying to degrade Alpine, but in this catagory, Infinity is the brand to shop for....
