Pioneer deh-x9600bt or Alpine cde-178bt? Is one better than other? and why

First of all, I like 1Din, i don't like the latest releases, i prefer older models. I'll use the unit to play through USB only, no Bluetooth. Are both equally good or is one much better than the other?

Alpine, and it's not even close.

I own that Alpine unit and the 9-band parametric EQ is much more useful than the 5-band graphic on the Pioneer.

Adding the Alpine KTP-455U is a great way to get an affordable boost in power output, if desired.

The Alpine has a better display, and more useful features.
