I currently have an American bass HD and I have someone who would trade me 2 Alpine type x's, so what would the difference in output be between one HD 12 and two type x 12's, both on a hifonics brx2400? Thanks

Doubling cone area will make it noticeably louder to the ear provided you get them into a proper enclosure. 3 dB I think is the rule of thumb in that scenario with same subs.
