Which will be louder SVC or DVC

I am running a 250/1 JL audio amp which gives out the same power no matter what ohm

I was wondering wouldn't I be better to run a SVC sub so all the power would go to one voice coil or stay with the current setup I have now which is a DVC 12 inch Kicker Comp Vr 2ohm that I am running at 1 ohm.

I am only running 1 sub off this amp and will never be changing the configuration

What do you guys think?

It doesn't matter...if its the same sub, it will sound the same....

Only reason multiple coil subs are made is for more flexible coil configurations...

Why are you running that kicker at 1 ohm? Its easier for the amp to run at 4 ohms, and jls amps are only rated to 1.5 ohms. To answer your question it doesn't matter just for configuration like Snova said.

The amp seems to be cool with it and it sounds pretty good. It not hot at all and the the low ohm light doesn't come on. I also was wondering since JL audio amp's are only rated at 1.5 ohm if there is a power gain pushing it to 1ohm.

There might be an increase in power at 1 ohms, not much though...
