Which way should my subs face?

Hello,

Ok I'm new here and I have a question....

I have a 1992 Geo Storm GSI and need to know which way is best to have my subs pointed.

firing to the rear?

firing to the front?

firing up?

subs are 12" Sony Xplod's

Amp is Viper d300.1

Box is a sealed enclosure made professionally for these subs.

is it a hatch or a trunk. Do rear seats fold down or stay up?

If you can move the enclosure around fairly easily, try firing them in all three directions.

My guess would be that you like them best firing towards the rear of the vehicle, or up.

its a hatchback seat folds down

I have tried them in all 3 postions, just thought I would ask for some expert opinions.

Currently I have them firing upwards and I feel this is the best sound so far, when I had them firing backwards I felt it was cancelling itself a bit since the subs are so close to the back of the trunk(like 3 inches from back)

since it is a hatch you definately what them firing up. That way you will get cabin when the subs fire off the rear glass.
