Out of curiosity, what is the rest of your setup? With you looking at premium stuff like the Supremos, I am dying to know.

BTW, the listening test part of the article was written by Eric Holdaway who works for Speakerworks in Orange so if you feel like it, you could wander in there to ask him personally.

3. Hertz EBX300R sub

4. Hertz Mille mid-woofer

Don't know yet. I had the Supremo Piccolos for a month. Now I have a Hertz Mille MLK 2 set but won't be able to power it up for ~ 2 weeks.

In the last 14 months, I've tried a Seas neo, LPG 25NFA, and Rainbow CAL26 along with the aforementioned Morel and soon Hertz. The Supremo was the most holographic but the Rainbow ultimately was better for my ears for long term listening. I loved the Rainbow but was itching to try the Hertz. I prefer silk exclusively as any metal tweeters tend to sound harsh for my ears. So yes, I will entertain other choices as long as they are non-metallic.
