which subs should i get WANT spl spl spl spl

My suggestion to you OP is that you get a pair of bucket seats and do a full console box, that extends behind the seats for added airspace. That way you can have the seat all the way back and the airspace and depth to have some great bass.
That's what I'm doing for my SA-8s right meow..

Unless you get bucket seats, you'll never get loud in a single cab man. Trust me, either get bucket seats or do a blow through.. It's your only choice,

And btw 99% of shallow subs are crap

maybe trade your truck or sell it for something else if you want to get into spl on any level. 4 decent 8s will be likely your best bet in that truck unless you do like the others mentioned about blow through or bucket seats and console box. i would personally trade up on a new vehicle.

There are no other suggestions

You can either

1) run a pair of 8" subs

2) Get bucket seats and build a center console box - likely for a pair of 10's or a single 12"

3) build a blow through - this is a box in your bed with a cutout into your cab.

That is it. Those are your choices.

You cannot get big bass from using 12's in small boxes.

You can buy every 12" sub made and put them in a tiny box and they will all sound like sh*t.
