which should i get? Clarion CZ209 or Pioneer DEH-2200UB

Clif notes:

never had clarion like usb location, dont know about EQ; pioneer love the eq not so much usb location;

both: dont know about ipod interface

i haven't really ever messed around with a clarion headunit, but i like the fact that the usb connection is in the back and hidden. i have an ipod i'd like to just throw in the glovebox and leave it there. i have never used a clarion EQ. which brings me to the Pioneer. i have had an older pioneer and loved how you can turn the back speakers for lows and how you can select the frequency the eq adjusts. however the usb plug is in the front which i don't like too much. how are the ipod controls/menus on these units. i'm not expecting too much w/o a screen but i still would like an easy navigation.

lmao.... i agree... kinda like *** with them.... it's new at first than it gets boring... which is why im not spending so much on it (headunit not woman).. it's going in a truck that i'm going to have for only a couple of month's... while i save my money up for a jeep cherokee 4x4. the truck that im driving around now has NO stereo in it and i've been relying on a battery operated boom box and an aux connection from and ipod

the current set up is so loud that i can barely hear it with the window's down... would use headphones but thats dangerous...

I'd look for a used unit on the forums. You will get much better quality.

If your dead set on one of those go with the clarion.

id would say the 2200ub. decent deck and much better quality at that level. plus i like the front usb better then the back.
