I am halfway through my current install and have been going back and forth on which direction I should go for sub install.

I purchased two 12" RE SE's which were going to be mounted under the seat of my Silverado. This install is more SQ/SQL based. I'm not looking for a ton of SPL, just enough to feel and blend with my front stage. That being said, I would like to be able to crank it every now and then when I'm in the mood.

Which way do you think I should go.

1) Install both sub's under the seat. Each side will be about .9 cf. Wire them for a 1 ohm load which will produce 1500 watt's from my 1501d.

2) Install only one sub. Box will be the recommended 1.0 cf. Wire it for a 2 ohm load which will produce 1000 watt's from the 1501d.

Thanks

I'd recommend using only 1 sub if ur space is that tight..... putting the subs in an enclosure that's too small will only hurt SQ...... 1000 watts into an SE will be more than enough power to drive it and get the SPL you need to keep up with your front stage....

Yeah, just the one in that case..... just my worthless .02
