db drive vs rockford fosgate

I have 2 12" rf p3s that are rated 1000watt 500w rms, I just bought 2 12" db drive platinum plw rated at 2000w 1000w rms. I do not think those are true ratings but does anyone know how good they are? They are better than what I had correct?

Really, I Hope So. The Rf Sounded Good, But Am Doing Whole System Db Drive. I Know Almost Everything Is A Little Over Rated With Maybe The Excep Of Jl, But To Be Rated At 2000 Watt And Only Really Be 1000 Does Not Seem Probable. Would Think They Are More Like 1600-1800 Max Power And Like 750- 900 Rms Which Is Much Higher Than The Rf. Plus I Am Finally Getting Out Of A Prefab

ratings are correct sub is 1000rms 2000peak. that sub will handle more than 1k too. look at the build quality,vc diameter,motor diameter,basket everything is alot heavier built on the db drive..

yeah i know alot more things come into factor instead of max ratings like: enclosure space, enclousure type, wiring, ect. I am just wondering if this is capable of more than the fosgate p3?

db drives r some pretty good subs, check them out on roe's great 12 challenge, they put up some good numbers. They should be compared more to the t1's, better yet the t2's.
