Which setup to go with...

Ok heres what happened. I had a pair of JL 12" subs that i blew recently. And not that i have an opportunity to start a new setup im hesitant in which to go. I have tried a pair of 15" on my van before and loved how deep bass it was. And i have tried triple 10' pioneer subs in my current car now(03 altima). And now that i also tried a pair of 12's i know how they all sound. BUT because im sick of the setup and want to fiberglass my trunk using the spare tire area as an enclosure and i will also raise the platform about 4" giving me more room im 50/50 to decide whether to go with a SINGLE 15" or PAIR 12's. Im not exactly sure if i have enough room for the pair 12s but wanted to hear your guys suggestion.

i wish I could listen to a few speakers and then know how all speakers sound :-/. Are you going for straight sq or spl or what?

quality sound.. dont need to set off alarms but i like to boom. I usually listen to rap and hip hop so i didnt really like the 10s... but i just thought.. cuz there is limited space maybe i should consider a single 15"
