Which Set of Subs?

I was talking to my friend yesterday and he offered to sell me one of his two boxes he isn't using but I don't know which one would be the better choice. I would just ask him but he has more $ than brains, So out of the two below which set should I get? He is selling them to me for $160 is that a good deal?

Kicker 12" COMP Dual (2 subs in each box) Ported Sub woofer Boxes

Or

Kicker 12" CVR Dual (2 subs in each box) Ported Sub woofer Box, single coil

I am going over his house today after work so any opinion as to which one is a better choice would be helpful, to be completely honest I don't even know what the visual differences are let alone the specifications, and every time I try to google it I can't seem to find specifications on them.

The CVR and Comp are 2 completely different subwoofers......y did u say the CVR's are dual then you say single coil...?

Either way I would go with CVR's

That description is what he sent me, I think he meant that there is dual subs but they are single coil

About 30 minutes till I have to leave to go get them and as it stands I am going to get the CVR's because that is the one I think has a higher RMS wattage from what I googled its 400watt RMS vs the 300watt RMS of the comp. Also Blove1991 said go with the CVRs so that makes it two votes for the CVRs.

Yup I ended up getting the Kicker 12" CVRs And they sound nice compared to the Older subs/box... $160 for the two subs in a prefab kicker ported box with some stuffing in the boxes, Is that a good price? The box also weighs like 60lbs. Is the stuffing for better sound? Sorry if this is a extremely noob questions but I am still learning.

yea, $160 for a box CC sells for $399 all day...sweet buy!
