Realize that the ID's are well respected, Rich, but the way the company went out has always been a "turnoff" for me, and is the main reason I never considered their subs or comps....

But I was really asking for opinions on which of the 4 sets of comps I have 'on-hand' would be the "best" or the most logical "first choice" for my upcoming SQL install

CDT CL-62 Pro

Boston Acoustics Pro60 SE

Focal Polyglass 165 VB

Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1

(Two Skar VVX-12_d2 in the back driven off SAZ-1500 v2, wired to 1 ohm, @750WRMS each sub)

IMO, Infinitys are hate it or love it and its best to hear them before buying. Focals aren't really all that great until u hit at least the K2Ps from my experience with em.

ID going out of business had nothing to do with the quality of their product. They can sound good while handling a lot of power. They get loud. I think we'll see those product lines make a resurgance.

Ultra Subs SS-6 are another great option
