Which set of comps for SQL ?

So I am finally counting down the days to starting my install, and I actually ended up with 4 sets of comps during my wait.

I will be starting with a basic coaxial mount install into factory location, lower part of front doors of the truck in my sig, driven off a Sony ES 7547 at around 100WRMS, max, to each mid.

CDT CL-62 Pro

Boston Acoustics Pro60 SE

Focal Polyglass 165 VB

Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1

(Two Skar VVX-12_d2 in the back driven off SAZ-1500 v2, wired to 1 ohm, @750WRMS each sub)

Which comps to install....?

I dont care for the sound of the lower model Focals personally but have had good luck with Infinity...

Supposed to have nice, tight bass, but I have read a couple comments about the tweeters being too bright....this what you didn't like about them?

Seemed a little lacking and bright aground IMO but they got better sounding the higher models I heard...

(I know that the Kappa Perfects are also supposed to be "bright" but I will be going active' date=' so I can tone down the tweets on any of the sets.)

If you aren't going to do it right by getting a pair of Imagines, then use the Bostons.

The Imagines would work well as a coaxial if you didnt wanna remount the tweet... Most people think they sounds better when run as a coaxial set actually...

Believe me, I wish I also had a set of HAT's, lol. But I am just trying to get this install started , right now.

(I got good deals on all 4 sets I have, and there just aren't many used HAT Imagines out there, much less at a good price)

I have been leaning towards the Bostons all along, myself....just wanted to hear what you all were thinking!

I tried very hard to get a used set of ES-07's and I hope to still get to try a set of the Gold line ES , one day.

Lol, I think that I actually accumulated 4 tweets, 5 of the mids, and 6 xovers out of the Pro60 line over the past 4 months, so I'll prolly be putting some up in the Classifieds at some point
