Which screws to use to mount the sub?

security bolts with Tnuts.

i dont want someone having an easy time of removing my speaker //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

One-way screws are commonly used for that.

The way I see it though, thieves are just as likely to take a knife or screwdriver through the cone if they can't remove the sub...so you're not saving any gear, just preventing them from physically removing it. Best course of action? Not give them a reason to even check out your vehicle (no gaudy rims, paint job, stickers, excessive tint, blah blah blah)

thats what i want. i can always get new gear if they destroy it, but i dont want someone to steal it and then use it for themselves, that would make me even more mad.

x2000

I use them on my subs, comps, amps. Of course I work in the ghetto. I was even thinking about having my wife mounted with them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I used tee nuts on my fiberglassed box, the bolts got jammed inside the nut and I ended up having to drill the heads off of 2 of them, and I ended up breaking a bit and sticking the unbroken part into the surround. Luckily it was a pretty small bit.
