Which one is looking easier to MOD

Wrx for sure

If your have never riden in one I suggest you test drive one before your make your decision. With the awd you can lauch real hard with no traction problems. Plus I think their just more fun to drive. Get the STI if you really wanna move. My buddy has one and its really quick.

so ive been looking at cars for a while and have narrowed it down to a Impreza WRX like 2002-2005 or a Dodge Neon SRT-4(2003-2005). i'm leaning towards the Neon cuz its cheaper and looks alot more simply than the WRX im not worried about leather or anything like that jusst performance. The Neon is faster stock and has better gas mileage and i think looks cool, but im not sure about the lifetime and realiability of those cars. the impreza is a little slower and ive found less ways to budget mod with this car. Im looking to find anyone who can answer these questions.

AWD is really nice for the wrx but they are expensive to mod.I would go with an SRT-4.

I say get the wrx, but I guess you could pick up a lot of doods in a neon.

my gti > wrx or srt 4. WRX's arent the fastest from a roll.. Lol i raced a guy who had a stage 3 srt4 that said he broke his shifter shifting so hard playing catch up. i absolutely love my car from a 40 roll.... I'm in 3rd gear-6mt.. it puts me ~3k rpm... and when i'm wide open its instanst boost... My REVO stage 2 gti will hold 23psi up to ~5k rpm... sti has 298hp stock with stock turbo and roughly 350~ lbs of torque

add a 16g turbo and that brings it up to about 375-390hp running almost 29 psi from 3800-5200 i believe

pretty close guesstimates

and if you talk to any serious subaru mod guy and race them they will murder you.

most guys that have sti's are running high 11s

Im not going to get another honda/acura and im looking to spend not alota money thats why i like the neon its like $15,000 and an STi is out of the picture i think the sti is *** ugly with that massive spoiler and its way to expensive

Don't forget to come back when you have buyers remorse for buying a Neon.. If I had to pick I would take the STi just because I think it's less ugly and a lot of people just put the trunk on w/o the spoiler.

i wouldn't want everyone thinking my silly wrx is misfiring all the time. i still don't understand why people think they're cool

if you want a really fast, cheap car, look for a 2g talon. you can make them insanely fast for extremely cheap
