Which JL setup would be better?

I dont really have much room to play with because it will be going under the rear seat. I don't really have a lot of money either but I want more than what the JL W3's are giving me. Maybe I have unreal expectations, but I have heard so much good stuff about JL, that's why I chose them and the guy helping me is really big on JL, in fact he held the world record for 3 subs without a wall in a yukon he built, granted it had 3 13W7's and 3 JL 1000/1 amps and focal mids and highs etc., but back to my situation, how much can I cram under the rear seat? Should I look at some of the shallow mount subs, or what kind of box could be built? I have no box building talents!
world record without a wall with only roughly 3k+ RMS?

i use have 8 w7 it out did two tens, then sold it, now i got another one and i haven't used it but they 450 at dealer shop, i was going trade but if u want it 350 and it include shipping

I used to have 2 12w6's, changed to 3 8w6's and ultimately landed on a single 10w6 to save on space. This was years ago. Since then I put together something small for my BMW and put a 10w3. Admittedly, I'm not all that impressed. I'm putting a couple 8w6's in a different vehicle with an entirely new setup and can say that the w6 and w7 speakers are in a complete different class than the w3's... you will likely notice a difference in quality but not volume.

I know I need to upgarde my other speakers but dont want to spend anymore right now on them. Im planning on going with the JL C5 series front and back running off a JL HD 600/4 or maybe the slash series 4 channel, haven't decided yet, but for now the Bose stock speakers arent to bad. I am also adding a JL cleansweep when I upgrade to C5's. And Yes, the world record was for a three sub setup with no wall, atleast thats what I was told, I heard it in person and it was loud as hell. I do have a question though, my truck already has 2 batteries under the hood and a ho alt from factory which I know is not really ho compared to aftermarket ones but I think its 125 amps, will this be ok to run the 2 amp setup or will I have to upgrade anything?

I have four 10 inch w6v1's in my chevy crew cab. It sounds good enough for now and they fit behind the back seat. Where are you going to put the w7?[/quote
A box design couldn't be made for under the seat, so what I did is remove the small portion of the backseat and have a box built for where that portion of the seat was, I didn't really want to do it this way but there is still plenty of room in the back for 2 people to sit.

op I don't think that JL's are sheyot but for 2k I have a 5k amp, pr. of Aluminum coil AQ10's, new box, another Kinetik 2400, and plenty of 0 ga. wire.

I guess what I'm trying to say is there are smarter ways to shop with that kind of money but if your happy thats all that matters.

Yeah I know I could have went with something else for cheaper not necessarily smarter but, really wanted to try out JL, and happy to say I am very pleased.
