Which is better?

Yep, I figured you guys would get the RE SE figured out, but I didnt think you would get the MTX sub.

So my se's can acaully move 22mm xmax? Hell yea!

And the reason I ask on these subs is this kid told me yesturday "So you wanna compare systmes one of these days?" Im like yea, wut you got. He said he didnt have anything yet, but on his next check he was going to get 2 of the MTX subs, ran on the on amp that says its 800 RMS. Now, the part I dont know wut he is goin to do is the box. Im guessing sealed.

To you guys here, my system is just an average so so system, but to the people around here, its is one of the best around. And those that are loud are lacking SQ, (and I have both!).

This guy really thinks those MTX's would compare to my system in SPL. I dont know, so I thought I'd ask.

NOW, to even the score a little bit:

You know my system (or look at my sig). Now his 2 12" MTX's Say he goes sealed, or if he goes ported its ported high, like 40hz or so (acually, he wouldnt do it himself, he would have our local shop do it, and they would if porting it prob port it 50hz+). With that 800 RMS MTX amp, do you think he could possibly stand a chance?

well look at it like this...he tuned high and your tuned low

while he's hitting the higher freqs...u can hurt him with the low freqs..

anybody can play a 50,60,70hz notes....but ask him to play a get low or lil scrappy no problems or ludacris get back..and watch his subs fuc.k up because he trying to hit the lows and he cant.....with your setup...u can hit the lows and be loud doing it....

so if u do compare systems...more than likely he going to play a song that dont hit the lows..so u play a song that will and tell him to play the same song..and watch his subs over excurt

yes the se's move 22mm oneway

Get Low aint no thang on my MTX, Get Back seams like its lacking abit, though ive never hurd it on another system!! also the MTX subs are pretty good. they do have loud bass, with moderit SQ, i havent hurd to may 400watt subs that can touch mine BUT im always listen to others.

Ha, like "late night tip", or "blueberry yum yum" by ludacris, or "oh nelly". Those are a couple of my favorites for bass, and Pass Dat Shit - 36 mafia. They all hit at about 30-38hz.

Wow, I just noticed the get back does hit pretty low. Ive never really bumped to it before.

Thats what I love about low tuning, nice low extension, nice SQ, and I can still get loud with it!

not trying to take over thread but i see that the RE SE has 22 mm Xmax..may i ask if anyone knows what the xmax is on a 12" RE SX? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
