I want to stay in MECA modified 4, so I need to keep below the 4000 mark.

so, 4000 - 226 is 3774. 3774 / 10 = 377.4. 377.4 / 2= 188.7 amps per holder. so that brings me to this thread. which would you run.

Cheap fuses I've heard hold up better than the good ones. Scoshe or iirc install bay lasted a really long time.

cheap fuses ive used and never had a problemo id go schosche tho. i like theirs

also remember you can run 4 fuses in M4. so get a fuse block made (to run both amps off of one) and make it x 1/0 in- x 1/0 out (what ever is needed for your amps) and run 2 150amp anl and 2 35 amp mini's

or just go with 4 90 amps if you can find them.

and when it comes to fuses there are some that well outperform others. (like a special little 3 amp fuse thats pretty popular //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif) but to know what really works its all about testing them to see what will take the most for 5 seconds.

Look in to a breaker as well, I am thinking about placing one up by my supply battery, and taking my ANL out

breakers arnt allowed in all org's i cant remember off the top of my head if they are legal for meca or not. and regardless good fuses will take more abuse for the 5/30 sec than a breaker will.

Well, I cant find 90 amp mini ANL fuses so it looks like I am stuck using the larger ANL fuses.
