For my system i am installing i bought a 0/1 guage wiring kit and it came with a 300 amp fuse, the amp that i have is an audiopipe 1500.1 and it came with a 100 amp fuse, which one should i use to put in my engine bay? If i used the 300 amp fuse would too much power go to my amp and it overheat? Thanks.

If your amp came with a 100 amp fuse then use a 100 amp fuse as close to the battery as possible. Assuming you are not running any other amps.

The fuse is to protect the wire and your car in case of a short. The amp doesn't know or care. I would use the lowest fuse you can get away with, in this case the 100 amp.

from my understanding yu use 2 fuse, the 300a fuse by the battery and the 100a fuse by the amp, pls post if I am wrong

To prevent fires, you fuse to the wire size. But to help keep your equipment safe, you fuse to the sum of all our amps fuses. Lower is always better. If you start popping them, then bump it up a size.

You are correct, if you want to run more than one amp from the wire. But with only one amp it's fine to use the lower rated fuse at the battery.

It would be cheaper, it might be easier to find a place to mount it, and you would have a ton of options if you just do two, 3 slot fuse holders...

My bad, yes, I read them each as having two 4ohm coils. The JBL diagram left a bit to be desired, IMO. ;) And a double yes, thought U was talking...

I plan on getting the fuse to run as a front sub/midbass in my kick panels...I've heard they sound good but you definitely wont get mirror shaking...
