I like the old one better, but i think you should take away the shaddow, maybe change the font and it would make a world of difference. The shaddow clutters it up. Maybe even take away those Tower graphics on the far left, although i think simplifying the links should be enough on its own.
as they stand now, i like the new one, but it seems too plain and small, and i think a simplified old one could blow it out of the water.

The only problem with the old one is that I built it in Photoshop, so changing everything would be a bitch. When I get more free time, I will spice up the new one a bit. The old one had way too many pics(over 60 for one page //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif ), and as Kenny said, way too many tables.

Yeah, aesthetically I still like the old one better than the new one.

Clean is good, but there needs to be some degree of contrast.

Yes. Like I say, maybe when I get some free time I can spice it up and make it look cool.
