I'm in the market for a used car right now, and I'm looking for some other peoples opinions. I've narrowed it down to something like a Mazda 6 or an Acura TL cars that I can afford (10-12k), and that get fairly good gas mileage.

Suggestions? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Also, I'm looking for something under 75k miles, preferably under 50-60k but I realize that's probably a pipe dream considering my budget.

I had a '03 Maxima that I absolutely loved. You can find one in your price range with reasonable miles too. I highly recommend them. Not to mention they'll go forever. The '03 is also the body style before the new ones. Which IMO the '04 and up models look like shit.

Honda Accord 98+

I have an 01 and have had barely any problems with it, usually any problem I've had is due to human error. Excellent car plus the resale is pretty great //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yeah, it's a nice vehicle haha. And it's a Honda powerplant...so it'll run forever.

I'm just reluctant to buy something with 130k already on the clock (like almost all Accords and Civics around here).

Black 2005 Maxima SE ftw.

SL's are ugly though. no 350z wheels ftl

Just an FYI, I was in the same position as you last summer and I wanted an 02 Acura TL. I researched more into the car and the amount of transmissions that die on that generation are insane. And they just replace it with the same ******. So, if I were you I'd get one with a warranty still (If that's possible) or research the car more. I opted for an 02 Avalon XLS and it wasn't as sporty a car as I wanted originally but it's very comfy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Good luck with your search and research the car!

An opinion cannot be wrong. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

When they came out with the new body style in '04, they totally forgot why the Maxima was originally made. Which was to be a sporty luxury sedan.
