Which Battery For Up Front?

Whats up guys, i sold my old build and got a Trailblazer now so im starting on it. First thing i wanna do is replace the crappy *** stock battery with a good alternative, i thought of yellowtops etc but then i figured why not just go all out and throw a Kinetik up front also ya know

I beleive the group size for my vehicle is 34/78 something along those lines? Its a pretty common larger size battery, just looking to see what Kinetik correlates with that group size so i know what to buy as a replacement, perhaps a Kinetik HC1800 ??? Thanks guys

find out measurements for that battery group and then correlate to kinetik batt. i think the 1800 fits, maybe even the 2000. Deka makes a batt for the group too

Look into the batcap 2000's much lighter with less IR than those piece of $hit kinetiks...

Look into the batcap 2000's much lighter with less IR than those piece of $hit kinetiks...

The Batcap battery is the worst thing you could use as a starting battery. Just ask Ray at Batcap if you have any questions on that. Ray himself has said many times that the Batcap batteries are not to be used to start a car.

So i could run a HC2400 as my up front battery and itd fit in my stock location? those seem a little on the big side

http://www.rtpnet.org/~teaa/bcigroup.html break down in group sizes. larger group # doesn't mean bigger or smaller it is its own specific size. Most guys measure and try fitting in the biggest battery they can fit.

Just get a 9A34 DEKA Intimidator and be done with it. I picked one up from a local dealer for $125. Great battery
