Which Amps are the "best"?

thanks for the input fellas, im tempted to buy a 1000/1 and a 450/4 i believe it is, but i really want the se series from arc, might just save up and bite the bullet, i have heard nothing but praise and they look super sexy. Id probably need help tuning them though lol

A lil confused...... You said you WERE looking to spend a ton of money but $600-$700 was your budget for the amp or amps? If you got the money and wanna make em hate ya save your money and go Brax baby, lol. I saw the same ARC amps on ebay. Good luck with those. Can't wait to get mine installed. I havn't heard anyone say anything bad about the SE's just that they are a bit pricey compared to some Zapco's that you can get all day long on ebay for like $350.

ARC SE FTW!!!

I am not looking to spend a TON just dont want to take any shortcuts with amps, the arcs are a possibility as well as some PPI's that i am working on.. the se is one of my favorite lookin amps as of now, and i am sure they perform

pioneers **** donkey balls and look much alike as well
Have you ever seen or heard the older PRS amps?? I doubt you have because you wouldn't be saying that about them if you had.

Which Pioneer amps are you talking about.??

Now that I read your sig I see you have one of the cheap Pioneer amps. If you want to see what Pioneer really has to offer as far as amps are concerned you're going to have to spend more than $150 and go with the Premier line or the PRS line.

Now this is a PRS 2 channel amp. Older but they were the shiznit and extremely underrated. Just ask one of the guys that have been on the forum for a while.

They came with birth sheets which showed the actual wattage. My 720 puts out 844 watts RMS @ 4 ohm mono.

I can't sit here and tell you because I don't really know for sure but I would bet those SE line of amps are a TON of money. The FD series are probably expensive as well. Truth is I've heard and seen the XXK line and they're also incredible amps that perform.

You pretty much got it " right " when you stated you were looking at Arc Audio first. The Foose Series will be better than pretty much anything that has been mentioned on this thread , with the exception of maybe Brax , Audison , True ....

As many have already stated , if you can find some used XXK amps , you will be waaaay ahead of the game.

The SE Series is WAY overkill for Germaniums. JMO
