Which amp to use to power speakers? plz help!

Hey. Im planning on buying an amp to power my speakers. Im not sure what i need to power them. The speakers are Infinity Kappa 62.5i 's. they have 75 rms, 225 peak. Which amp would be best for these? Any suggestions would help. Thnx -Ak

i would recomend a pheonix gold or similar quality amp for them

K thnx Bu how many watts do I need? This amp would be for two speakers.

Get a 100x2 amp. at whatever ohms the speakers run @. It will make them sound nice, and you won't have to worry about blowing them.

right now i'm looking for the same thing, but i'm getting a 4 channel amp so i can add the kappa 6 x 9's later...r u looking just to power the (2) 6.5's???

Actually, i was planning on doing the exact same thing for my boat. I was going to get a 4 channel so that down the road when i added two 6x9s, id have an amp to power them. -Ak
