Hey all...
I need some expert "amp" advice....
Here is what I currently have:
I have an F-150 SC with 4 sets of Boston component speakers in each door (a tweeter and a 5X7).... I also have a sub box under the "60" part of my rear seat with one JL sub in it. Pushing everything is: 1 JL 250/1 amp for the sub... This is fine for me.
The other amp is a JL 300/4 pushing the 4 sets of component speakers in each of the 4 doors.
NOW -- here is my question(s) ----
Would I be better off adding 1 more JL 300/4 amp (I'd have 2 total then) -
and having one 300 amp push 2 channels (the front door speakers) and have the other 300 push the other 2 channels (bridge each of the 2 amps)?
OR
Am I better off removing the 300/4 and installing a 450/4 to drive the 4 channels? What I don't get on the 450/4 is Channels 1 & 2 are 150 watts and channels 3 & 4 are 75 watts....? So my front speakers would be twice as powerful as my rear speakers? Wouldn't that sound out of balanced?
Now as it is I have 4 channels at 75 watts....
Any help appreciated for my Novice questions
thanks
