ok you have $750-800 to spend on a sub/amp combo--you have decided to go with a 15" XXX which is $435 shipped. Which amp do you chose that closely matches your 2ohm dvc sub very closely in rms wattage---closely as in 100 watts either way. only restriction being that you may not pick hifonics, sony, pyle, jensen, lanzar, volfenhag, legacy, or cheap end audiobahn.

But I don't think they have a warranty.

You get what you pay for an 1600 watts for ~$400 with warranty is hard to do.

What kind of electrical system do you have? Is it capable of sustaining 1600wrms? You can't make power without power.

One of the contributing causes of amplifier failure is low DC input voltage.

i got power 200 amp ohio generator alt plus big three plus yellow top optima plus 0/1 gauge to the trunk.

with your alt you can boost the holy hell out of the voltage. chris runs a config of one at normal voltage for the vehicle the runs over 16v or at for the system batteries. those little extra volts an get you alot more power if you design around it
