Maybe contact them. Or if you're buying it new(it'd be over your $275 budget), you could go with Sonic and get with SquareTrade for protection.
Im not interested in anything Maxxsonics touches. FWIW Ive sent emails out to ID and Powerbass to figure out who would warranty the amp. The place Ill be getting it from if I go this route is an authorized ID online retailer.Powerbass ASA amplifiers are nice entry level gear as I have one running in my wifes car (a small 2 channel) and it preforms quite well for what it is.
Dragon, Why not look into the MB Quart Reference line or the Onyx, I use Autotek the 2011 amplifiers in a SQ comp system and place very high in scoring.
The price point is good and they can be had cheap.
Next year I am doing a 3 way active + subs with those Autotek amplifiers and a 9855 doing the processing.
MB Quart ONX4.80/500 500 Watts 5-Channel Amplifier NEW | eBay
No thanks. Dont have room for 2 amps. The mb quart onyx is what i thought about , but it is cheaper to go this way and the amps are better with more flexibility.MB Quart REF4.80 640W RMS Reference Series 4-Channel Amplifier (this for the 4 channel)
MB Quart REF1.800 (REF 1.800) Reference Monoblock Amplifier (and this for the sub)
I know this is 2 instead of one 5 channel , but the ref series are nice amps and it's a cheaper option than the 5 channel.
I like this cadence amp it actually puts out enough power for a descent system. Question is is it any good? I have never used cadence amps myself, are they better built then mb quart? and if so how?I forgot about the Cadence ZRS C8 5 channel as well.
Id like to hear some real feedback from people who have actually used these amps.
I had a Cadence Z1200 and it did every bit of power + same. Rated for 1200wrms@1 with a .04% THD at rated power.I like this cadence amp it actually puts out enough power for a descent system. So the ID and the PB dont do rated power.remember i had a "vast" knowledge of ID and besides a "lil" birdie told me
if you ever looked at the specs for the i5800 you'll see it said 4ga power and ground inserts but low and behold they are 8ga there's a reason for it. take a look at the pb amp.
