Looking for a nice amp that can run some clean signal/power to my door speakers, they are Morel Maximos take about 90 watts RMS per side.

Not exactly into the whole SQ game, I see a lot of different views on it so excuse me if my terminology or information isn't exactly up to par.

Looking for something at max 120 dollars.. looking for under 100 preferably, obviously I don't expect top of the line for that price. But I have seen some pretty nice old school amps for my budget..

just need some guidance here, I've been looking at an Audio System Twister Series f4 240, and a US Acoustics 4085.

any suggestions? also any ideas/comments on what I should be looking for in an amp?

I've been looking at an Audio System Twister Series f4 240, and a US Acoustics 4085.

Both of those are great amps, the Twister is made in Italy by the same design house that now makes Mosconi amps, and the 4085 is made by Zed Audio (made the original Hifonics amps in the 80's & 90's).

Not even in the same league as whats been mentioned in the OP.

The Twister amp depending on model could either be made by Masconi or by Steg. Either way you go its a top notch amp. Even their low junk line would be better than 99% of the "high" end stuff on the market today.

Yes, I am mainly looking for used amps. Thank you for the help though! & its good to hear all of the positive feedback about the Twister.

I think i'm going to just deal with not having a front stage for the next week or two, and save my money for that twister. Depending on condition of course.

I'm just lacking so much patience at the moment, I miss my Morels lol.

PM'ed ^ Also what do people think of cadence? Would it be better for the price than the old schools i'm looking at?

Apparently they have a warehouse sale going on.

Don't have the money :c haha. But yeah I feel like an idiot for not looking it up before, I figured xplod was never a nice line, I guess I was wrong.
its a super crazy sq amp man they dont make em good anymore though

i was looking at the amp today and it has a test tone button i was like wtf

and it can do 1ohm bridged

A test tone button? What the hell?

Thats so nice, i've never heard of that on an amp. lol. GLWS though, old stuff is always nice. Hoping I can hold off my inpulse buying until I can purchase the Twister amp.

Old school ppi power class amps are in your price range on ebay for your wattage needs. I have owned 3 2600s and an older Art series A600, all suited my needs very well. THD is something like .02%, which is considered ok for SQ. The 2400 would be perfect for your needs at 4 ohms stereo, producing a clean, true 100Wx2. One was at around $90 today on egay with 30 minutes left.
