Which 10" Sub...

New to the forum and new to car audio. I have a Civic Sedan, with Clarion Max685BT, 4 Polk 6.5" 651, Kicker 300W 4 channel amp. I like to listen to mostly rock, with some rap. I like a clean, tight, thump in the chest, rather than the loud bvvvvvvvvv I'm used to hearing at stoplights.

I know little about car audio, but from my reading, I'm thinking 2 JL 10w6 in a sealed box might fit my bill. Problem is, they sure are pricey. What other subs will give similar quality, but lower price...maybe in the $100 to 200 range? Please correct me if I'm barking up the wrong tree with any of this stuff.

Thanks for the reply. Still trying to keep it below $200, but I'll check them out. Do you think I could find some decent, used JLs in that price range?

RE SE is a good one as well. You can usually find one or two used in the classified section or new on ebay for $140 shipped.

Used w3's as other have said, but they're not on the same level as the w6's.
