I just installed a 350w RMS 2ohm JBL 12" Sub in a sealed 1 cu.ft. enclosure powered by a 360w RMS 2ohm JBL monoblock amp. The other four speakers are ran off the headunit for now. I need advice on the hpf and lpf settings on the amp and headunit.
Current settings are:
On the Amp LPF 80, HPF 30
On the Headunit LPF off, HPF 100
I'm guessing the HPF of the headunit should be closer to the LPF on the amp so i'm not missing frequencies, but I really have no idea. I only set the HPF at 100 on the Headunit because at 80 theres some ratting in the door panel that I haven't had time to fix yet.
Anyone have any advice on better settings?
