but if you really wanted to go with JL i would go for either 2w6's or 1 dub7

but like manny said its way overpriced

you can get better subs for 1/2 the price of theirs. i dont get why they cost so much. dont get me wrong they sound good just not the best ive heard

if its the old v1 10w3's than yea go with 4 of them with 3k watts...believe it or not it can handle it..i still have mine that was built back in 2001..when they first came out and i put 800watts each of them daily in a 4th order bandpass and it SLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMS......

buit if its the 10w3v3...1500 for all 4 is good...i dont trust the new jl stuff

Thanks for the insight...

I would look for underground subs, but the hook up I have where I purchase the subs, if I don't like it, they'll exchange it no problems asked.

Well, for now I am staying with 4 10W1 woofers in 2.5 CU Ft and 1500 RMS. We are talking about fiber glassing a box, and squeezing out as much airspace as we can to see if i can run 4 12s or a couple of 13" subs. If I need too, I will upgrade my battery, wiring, and buy another RF 1500 amp...
